Looking for a small local joint that does it right then you've found the right place as here the service is awesome as well as the food that you know your going to want again just as soon as you leave!
Coming here with my friend he was already telling me that it was one of his favorite places to grab some much needed sustenance at so when we pulled up into what totally was an old Mc Donald's I had my doubts even more so with the older interior but beyond that would be the delicious food and super friendly and awesome staff!
So after a few months of browsing the menu I totally just ordered the chicken fried steak as that just sounded scrumptious at the time so I went with it!
My menu choice came with two sides and a cup of soup so I went with the mashed potatoes and the broccoli the soup was yummy and very flavorful packed with meat and grains to give it just what it needed the broccoli was steamed and done just right as were the mashed potatoes that went well with the country gravy on top but the real winner was the chicken fried steak as it was fried just right and had just the right amount of gravy on top to make it perfect!
Besides the food being delicious our service was totally awesome as well as friendly so much so I can see why this is definitely a local legit place!
Overall yummy food and good people you can't go wrong hopefully I'll make it here again at some point for what's totally good all around! -

Came here for the first time today. Our waitress was Lisa, she was amazing!
Had apple juice- typical and delicious
Had the Jack special - biscuits and gravy, hash browns, and 3 eggs (I had Sunny side up). Delicious! Massive portions
Decent in cost. You get your moneys worth! -

Very friendly staff! I'm a local and first time eating here. The food was great! We had the chicken paprikash and it was tasty. The portion size is generous and good value. The staff worked well as a team. We will come ba

Would probably give them 3-1/2 stars if I could. I live near there but had yet to stop in, but did so when I saw their sign that mentioned specials of "cabbage rolls" & "cabbage and noodles." Okay so I'm a cabbage fiend. I got the cabbage rolls which came with mashed potatoes, a second side of choice (I chose coleslaw but others to choose from were the usual salad, carrots, & others). Also included is soup. The soup that day was homemade beef vegetable which was among the best I've ever had. The cabbage rolls were so-so. They were covered in tomato sauce that was VERY tomato-ie (not a word, I know). It really needs something like sauerkraut added to the recipe to cut the acid of that tomato flavor. Plus there was absolutely zero flavoring, not even salt. Then again I could see the clientele tended to be older - older folks rule!! - but of course they usually need to watch their salt intake. Yep, I know I could learn from them. The coleslaw was awesome. The front of the house looked very clean to me. One note, I found a shortish dark hair on the edge of my takeout container, not really appetizing but I figure I've eaten worse in my life. The woman, Doris, who took my order and helped pack it was lovely. (Shout out to Doris!). Since it is located so close to me, I believe I'll give it a second chance in the future, especially if I can get more of that soup!

A great change of pace from chain restaurants. I recommend eating here. its like an old time country diner.
